Who we are
Strategic Airsoft Squad (“we”, “us”) operates a mobile airsoft shooting range based in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, and this website at https://www.bnb-events.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal information described below. You can reach us at info@bnb-events.co.uk or 07916 168977.
What we collect
When you use our enquiry form or contact us directly, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and the details you give us about your event — the type of event, the date, the venue postcode, approximate numbers, and anything you write in the message box.
We do not collect payment details through this website.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
We use it for one thing: to answer your enquiry, give you a quote, and if you book, to plan and run your event. The lawful basis is legitimate interests — you have asked us for a quote and we cannot provide one without these details — and, where you go on to book, performance of a contract.
We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not send you anything you have not asked for.
Who we share it with
Nobody, except the service providers that make the website, our email and our analytics work — our website host, our form and email providers, and Google Analytics — who process it on our behalf under contract. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where a venue or event organiser requires a participant list or our paperwork, we share only what is necessary and we will tell you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking records are kept for six years, which is the period we need them for insurance, tax and any liability question arising from an event.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email info@bnb-events.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites.
We do use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages people read, how they found us, and where they give up. This helps us make the site more useful. It sets cookies in your browser, so we ask your permission first: analytics only runs if you press “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google.
We have configured Google Analytics to anonymise IP addresses and we have turned off Google signals and ad personalisation, so your data is not used to build an advertising profile. Google processes this data on our behalf; see Google’s privacy policy. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
The only other thing we store in your browser is your cookie choice itself, so we don’t keep asking. That never leaves your device.
Photography at events
We sometimes take photographs at events for our website and social media. If you or your child appear in a photograph and you would rather we did not use it, tell a marshal on the day or email us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page.
